Brine is a salt solution which uses up to 75 % less salt than conventional gritting products, thus significantly reducing costs. Its main advantage is its immediate thawing effect, meaning that it can be used is a preventive product. Unlike dry salt, which must first absorb dampness, this ready-for-use saline solution adheres directly to slippery frosty and icy surfaces, extending its effective period. Brine can also be used on difficult surfaces, such as timber floor boards, cobblestone or steps, ensuring reliable combatting of icy surfaces.
